Assisted dying bill: Disabled activists warn of bill’s threat
we must be very AGAINST 'assisted dying'. It is a symptom of 'austerity/right wing politics'.
We as disabled people know only too well the slippery slop. Once we become a 'burden' on someone they we'll be 'snuffed'. As it is the Government of the UK has already indirectly 'killed' hundreds of disabled people in their alleged 'welfare reforms'.
Make no mistake about it. the right wing UK government only favour this bill as they see it as another 'welfare reform' - a code for 'kill 'em' .
This might sound like 'crazy talk'.....but there's none so crazy as a disabled woman with insight!
A disabled woman challenges the 'status quo' in Ireland. This blog was started to highlight inequality, abuse and injustice in the lives of disabled people. The wooden spoon was given to me when I graduated (PhD) as I'm known to 'stir up' and get things done. I'm still stirring from my wheelchair...Justice for disabled people demands we 'stir-up' complacency, injustice, inequality lack of services, and scapegoating . Disabled people deserve rights not charity! "Nothing about me without me!"
