The medical card in Ireland is given to those with extensive medical needs for free care, or those whose income falls below a certain level. A FULL medical card covers GP visit, eye doctors, some dental care, cover for medication, physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy...etc
A GP card only lets you see a GP free. All else you have to pay for.
Seeing a GP costs from 55euro to 75e depends where you live or GP.
